North Park Art Walk History
In 2010 Anna Koh-Varilla and Jeffrey Hanson Varilla were the artistic force behind the first North Park Art Walk. Nationally and internationally recognized artists and sculptors who own the Koh-Varilla Guild, the couple wanted to share the talents of their fellow artists in the community where they both live and work. The event was so successful in bringing hundreds of art lovers to the streets and shops on Bryn Mawr and Kedzie avenues that it was repeated in 2011. After a six-year hiatus, North Park Art Walk, a not-for-profit organization, brought back the Art Walk in October 2017. More than 30 Chicagoland-based artists exhibited and sold their work.
